About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned Purchase Manager with 7-12 years of relevant experience in sourcing and procurement. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing procurement operations for raw materials and packing materials, coupled with excellent vendor management and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee sourcing and procurement for: o Raw Materials: Films, BOPP, CPP, Polyester, Aluminium Foil, Nylon Film, etc. o Packing Materials: Wooden pallets, tapes, wrapping papers, and other related materials. • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals. • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. • Handle Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) efficiently and accurately. • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality. • Manage import operations, including material handling and compliance with import regulations. • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and operations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all procurement activities. • Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and ensuring optimal performance. Requirements: • Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in a relevant field. • Experience: 7-12 years of relevant experience in procurement and purchase. • Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing and procurement for films, packaging materials, and related products. • Proficient in vendor management, negotiation, and data handling. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Hands-on experience with import operations and documentation.
